Shrimp holes are made from recycled material.

Have a porous structure and are ideal for shrimp.

N.B. Like Drift Wood; they are bouyant initially and must be

weighted down or allowed to sink over approximately 2 days.

Shrimp Holes provide hiding spaces for a variety of sized crustaceans from large shrimp and small prawns to their new born. The construcion of the Shrimp Holes allows small animals to hide between the porous tubular structure. The porous pipe which is used allows for a large surface area and therfore an increase in the baterial colonisation of the structure. Small crustaceans enjoy grazing from this porous surface; much as they do in the wild.
